The official server of Spineworld has closed back in 2010 to be replaced with Migoland, it is highly unlikely that it will come back. Andreas Rehnberg (the founder of Playdo AB) has stated that he wants to bring those games back to life but currently he is busy with other projects
In 2013, a player named MaouKami who used to play around with Spineworld discovered his browser cache containing the 2008 version of the game and website, he wrote a private server and he managed to get the game up and running. Unfortunately the files for newer versions still to this day have to be discovered.
In 2016, Monk utilizing MaouKami's work managed to write his own private server and he used to run one until April 2019.
